Gandelfs Carp Lake

Members only (LIMITED MEMBERSHIP SYNDICATE), 12 Day Pegs, 7 Night pegs - This lake is aimed at the specialist Carp angler.

We have decided to devote this water to large carp. As regulars know we have been moving larger carp from the other two ponds. The existing stock are between 12lbs - 28lbs.

We have also supplemented existing fish with a new stocking of 31 selected carp between 12lbs - 20lbs. This water is fed with high protein pellets to obtain an improved growth rate and we would expect the new stock to reach mid 20's in two to three years.

Merkwood Pond

16 Pegs (DAY TICKETS & MEMBERSHIPS)

We decided to keep this pond a general coarse pond but with much less of a focus on carp. As many anglers know it already has a good head of Bream and Roach with a smattering of Tench and Barble.

Over recent years we have moved many of the carp into the Gandelf’s lake and will continue to do this.

Merkwood pond has been stocked with 250 Tench 10″ to 3lbs,  300 Ide 8 - 10″ and 100 Chub 8 - 10″.

This water is ideally suited to pole or feeder tactics, keepnets may be used.
